Second Half of Third Session

  • Slept like babies
  • Larken decides not to sleep outside the bubble
  • Parrill wakes up in the middle of the night, doesn't know why
  • Its lighter than it should be
  • Hazy, foggy. Might Rain
  • Everything glowing?
  • Parrill rolls hearing, fails. Rolls seeing
  • Parrill sits up, sees Fuckboy's bedroll is empty
  • Light is coming from direction. Movement in trees.
  • Parrill checks out (goes into the light)
  • Hears faint whispers. Just murmuring
  • Makes out individual voices (help me, kill me, screams)
  • Parrill keeps going. Can feel death. Magic prepared her for this
  • Something is off. This isn't quiet or peaceful
  • So good w/ death
  • Something Different
  • Clearing. Ruins in distance.
  • Sees tall, crumbling tower
  • Formless humanoid shapes around base
  • Finds Fuckboy
  • Fuckboy is looking at tower. Looks gaunt, sickly, skeletal. Looks like he's never slept. Very lean.
  • Parrill stands next to him. Stares at tower w/ him
  • Fuckboy doesn't react. "Poetic, isn't it? Restless dead keeping us from sleeping?"
  • "Yeah!" contently
  • Light shifts, glow is replaced by dawn
  • Fuckboy says, watch
  • Dawn arrives, Parrill wakes up in camp
  • Dawn, everyone still asleep
  • Warden poking fire
  • Break camp, breakfast
  • Parrill tells Fuckboy about dream
  • "That's fascinating. Sure it was a dream?"
  • "Nope!"
  • "When you're so close to death, hard to tell what's real and what isn't"
  • Should be taking own advice
  • Imira slept like a baby
  • Head back the way we came
  • Parrill feels like time is weird
  • We come into clearing. No tower, just ruins. There used to be a tower
  • Parrill apologizes for misinformation
  • Whole lot less of tower than Parrill's dream
  • We get closer
  • Base of tower looks weird. Stone doesnt look like its part of the tower. Floors unusually intact. Landslide took out part of wall
  • Fuckboy looks like he's grabbing something invisible. Pulling, floor peels up. Solid stone moving like cloth
  • "This is how we found it, used to seal entrance. Undead poured out of it. Got rid of some corpses. Smash anything to pieces, will reform. Anything that dies here comes back"
  • Staircase leading down
  • Wardens cant go, will attract darkspawn
  • Won't seal us in, but keep watch
  • Warden to Larken, "Wont be the same as last time"
  • Larken, "Yeah, sure."
  • Warden apologetic, Larken dead inside
  • Imira casts Rock Armor
  • Larken gives Templar shield to Warden for safe keeping.
  • Level technically covered. Still in bad shape. Smells bad, badly weathered
  • Parrill holds Imira's hand (like buds! Cuz we hangin' out!)
  • Larken almost shield bashes the door, Ellanna stops her. Has keys. Ellanna unlocks the door
  • We find a room full of skeletons
  • Larken closes the door. Sees reassembling corpses. Locks the door
  • We approach a slightly opened door. Cold mist touches us
  • Imira summons a light whisp
  • Larken kicks the door open
  • Skeletons reassemble. One is All Legs
  • Ellanna finishes them all off after fight
  • Imira feels crept upon
  • Shadowy demons attack
  • Ellanna takes a running start, leaps over Larken. Larken holds up her shield. Ellanna lands on it, kicks off it, then attacks a skeleton downward in midair.
  • We kill more shit
  • We find undead Wardens huddled around a fire for warmth
  • Parrill, Lets charge them
  • Larken, dead inside, Do it
  • Imira accidentally creates an ash wraith
  • Ash wraith tries to steal health from Larken, but she's dead inside and he takes damage instead
  • Writing on the pedestal, we light 4 sconces.
  • Hear grinding in the distance
  • Yannis tumbles down to our level as a second staircase rises up. 
  • Arrives late and hungover, but with Starbucks
